Theatre and Auditorium Access
Lecture theatres, cinemas, presentation centres, and performance venues all share a common challenge: high-level equipment that needs regular servicing in a tiered seating environment where conventional access equipment simply doesn't work. 3JB Ltd's Auditorium Access Tower is purpose-built for these spaces — providing safe working platforms at heights up to 8m without disrupting the fabric of the venue.
Get in touchWhat Needs Maintaining
A venue’s operational equipment lives at high level — and it all needs routine cleaning, servicing, and replacement. The Auditorium Access Tower gives maintenance teams a stable, safe working platform to reach everything overhead, including:
- General lighting and spot lights
- Projection systems and display screens
- High-level air handling equipment
- Scenery and rigging

How the System Works
A lightweight, modular tower designed specifically for tiered seating environments — where the floor level changes and ceiling heights reduce towards the rear.
End frames are connected using horizontal and diagonal braces to quickly form a rigid, stable working platform. The modular design means sections can be progressively removed as the ceiling drops towards the back of the auditorium, allowing the operative to maintain full ceiling reach at every row — without needing a separate setup for each position.
The tower is lightweight enough to be repositioned by a small team between tasks, making it a practical and cost-effective alternative to powered access equipment in spaces where MEWP access is restricted by the seating layout.
